Call for services

Overview and Background

TrAC is an industry led not for profit company, which operates across the East and South East of England to support fixed term apprentice placements in the construction sector. We typically employ between 50 and 70 apprentices and work with contractors on different projects to piece together placements so that our apprentices can complete their training.

We have achieved 100% into employment on completion, were named a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer at the National Apprenticeship Awards in January 2017 and Best Apprenticeship Programme in the Construction News Investing In Talent Awards in November 2017, having been shortlisted in two different categories.

TrAC Apprenticeships Norfolk (TrAC AN) is a new cross sectoral project which has been created to provide managed support to both employers and young people to enable access to work experience, Traineeships and Apprenticeships.

We have a requirement for activities that support this project on a call off basis to meet specific outcomes pertaining to this delivery and project targets.

We are seeking quotations to deliver these activities and successful applicants will be assessed on how well they can meet the needs of the project and the skills and experience required for this role. The amount available will not exceed £11,000 for the contract term.

Contract term and specific dates for delivery:

The term of this contract is 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2020 and applicants must be available to work with the project participants on a call off basis with response times as minimum of 2 working days. Time spent with participants to achieve the project outcomes will vary, and cannot therefore be specified as hours per participant. In addition, the young person may be located anywhere in Norfolk. The bidder needs to consider how this will impact on capacity and financial viability.
